Felipe Ramirez
Chilean-born Felipe Ramirez brings a deep-rooted reverence for terroir and precision to his work with Chardonnay at Atomique³. Raised in a family of chefs, Felipe developed a natural appreciation for craftsmanship, agriculture, and the quiet power of place. That early connection to the land led him to pursue a master’s degree in viticulture and enology in France, where he studied Burgundy’s most iconic expressions of Chardonnay and formed a foundational philosophy rooted in site transparency.
Felipe refined his approach in Chile, collaborating with renowned terroir specialist Pedro Parra and working across diverse vineyard landscapes before settling in Oregon. The Willamette Valley, with its cool climate and volcanic origins, reminded him of his native Patagonia and offered a canvas for exploring the subtleties of Chardonnay with clarity and restraint.
At Atomique³, Felipe’s winemaking is focused, unhurried, and minimal by design, always in service of capturing the quiet nuances of each site.
Pedro Parra
Pedro Parra is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading terroir specialists, known for his pioneering work in soil mapping and site selection for some of the most thoughtful wine projects around the globe. With a PhD in terroir from the Institut National Agronomique in Paris, Pedro brings both scientific rigor and intuitive understanding to the relationship between land and wine.
Born and raised in Chile, Pedro has spent the past two decades uncovering the world’s most expressive vineyard sites, working in regions as varied as Burgundy, the Uco Valley, Tuscany, and Oregon. His work is rooted in the belief that truly great wines begin underground, in the texture, composition, and fracture of the rock.
At Atomique³, Pedro’s detailed study of soil profiles and geologic structure helped identify the micro-sites that form the core of the project. His work laid the groundwork for a Chardonnay program built not on style, but on site, an approach that defines Atomique³’s philosophy from the ground up.

Jean-Marc Roulot
Renowned Meursault vigneron Jean-Marc Roulot brings a quiet intensity and deep sensibility to his collaborative role at Atomique³. Known for producing some of the world’s most precise and emotionally resonant Chardonnays, Jean-Marc is admired not only for his craftsmanship in the cellar, but for his thoughtful approach to farming, balance, and time.
With roots deeply planted in Burgundy and a reputation for purity and restraint, Jean-Marc’s influence at Atomique³ is both philosophical and practical. He offers guidance on viticulture and élevage, helping shape the way the wines are grown, harvested, and handled—with an emphasis on letting the vineyard speak.
His involvement is grounded in shared values: a belief in the subtle power of site, a respect for patience, and the idea that great Chardonnay is made with as little interference as possible. At Atomique³, Jean-Marc’s perspective helps illuminate a path forward—one that honors Oregon’s volcanic soils with the same quiet reverence he brings to Meursault.
